Changing a destination

Rules

• Only organization admins signed in to the console can add, change or remove a payout wallet. API keys are always rejected.
• The first wallet on a network is saved immediately. Any later addition or change on that network needs the 6-digit code emailed to the admin who requested it (valid 15 minutes, five attempts).
• A confirmed change waits 24 hours before it takes effect. Every member of the organization is emailed with the old and new address, and any admin can cancel it in that window.
• Every issued invoice keeps the wallet recorded when it was created. An invoice's merchantAddress can only choose among wallets already registered.
• Every change is recorded with the actor, previous address and new address.

Flow

   Request

   Save the new wallet in Settlement. The console shows it as pending.

2. 2

   Confirm

   Enter the code from your email. The change is scheduled and everyone is notified.

3. 3

   Hold

   For 24 hours payouts continue to the current wallet. Cancel from Settlement if you did not make the change, then rotate your credentials.

4. 4

   Apply

   The new wallet is used for invoices created from then on.
